Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of services provided by Nishiki Language Centre, operating as jStudy Myanmar (“we,” “us,” “our”), including our study-abroad consultancy services and our Student Agency Management System (“SAMS,” “the System,” accessible at app.jstudymyanmar.com). By using our services, contacting us through Facebook Messenger, or accessing the System, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who These Terms Apply To

These Terms apply to:

  • Students and prospective students using our study-abroad consultancy services
  • Agents and partner institutions working with us through the System
  • Visitors who contact us through Facebook Messenger or other channels
  • Any other user of app.jstudymyanmar.com

2. Our Services

We provide study-abroad consultancy services, including but not limited to: institution and course matching, application processing and submission, document preparation guidance, visa and immigration-related assistance, and ongoing communication and support throughout your application journey. Our services are advisory and administrative in nature — final admission, visa, and immigration decisions are made solely by the relevant institutions, embassies, and government authorities, not by us. We do not guarantee admission, visa approval, or any specific outcome.

3. Your Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information, including academic records, personal details, and application materials
  • Promptly inform us of any changes to information you’ve provided that may affect your application
  • Use the System and our Facebook Page only for legitimate purposes related to our services
  • Not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or circumstances
  • Not attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the System that are not intended for you

Providing false or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application by an institution or authority, and may affect our ability to continue assisting you.

4. Communication and Facebook Messenger

How we communicate with you:

We may communicate with you through the System, email, phone, and Facebook Messenger via our official Page. When you message our Facebook Page, you agree that:

  • We may respond using information visible to us through the Facebook Messenger platform (your name, profile picture, and message content)
  • We may use your message history to provide better, more informed responses, and internally add your conversation to our CRM as a lead only when we choose to (this is never done automatically without a staff decision)
  • Messages sent outside of Facebook’s standard messaging window may be subject to Facebook’s messaging policies (such as requiring a specific message type), which may affect our ability to respond within that window
  • You may stop receiving messages from us at any time by blocking our Page or telling us to stop

Our use of Facebook Messenger is also governed by Facebook’s Terms of Service and Meta Platform Terms, which apply independently of these Terms.

Response times:

We aim to respond to inquiries promptly during business hours but do not guarantee a specific response time. Automated acknowledgment messages sent outside business hours do not constitute a substantive response and will be followed up by a staff member.

5. Fees and Payment

Where our services involve fees (such as consultancy or processing fees), these will be communicated to you separately and are subject to the specific payment terms agreed at that time (e.g., via an invoice generated through the System). Fees paid to third parties — such as institution application fees, visa fees, or government charges — are separate from our service fees and are non-refundable through us once paid to the relevant third party.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the System and our public pages, including text, branding, and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

We provide our services on a good-faith, best-effort basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • We are not liable for decisions made by third parties, including educational institutions, embassies, or immigration authorities
  • We are not liable for delays, errors, or outages caused by third-party platforms we rely on to communicate with you, including Facebook Messenger
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of our services

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end our services to you if you provide false information, misuse the System or our communication channels, or breach these Terms. You may stop using our services or the System at any time by informing us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services or the System after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, without regard to conflict of law principles.
